July is one of the best months to be in Milton! With Canada Day kicking things off, concerts, festivals, and markets filling out the calendar, there is truly something for everyone this month.

Canada Day at the Milton Fairgrounds
Kick off July in style at Milton’s beloved Canada Day celebration on Wednesday, July 1st at the Milton Fairgrounds from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. This free, full-day community event is packed with activities for all ages: inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting, lawn games, arts and crafts, food vendors, a beer garden, and live entertainment on the main stage.
Don’t miss the Canada Day Bike Parade at 11:00 am, the Spaghetti Eating Contest at 1:00 pm, and the Canada’s Birthday Cake cutting at 2:30 pm. Admission is free, with donations at the gate welcome.

Make It Big – A George Michael Tribute
On Saturday, July 4th at 8:00 pm, Antonio Didiano takes the stage at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton with his incredible vocal tribute to one of pop music’s most iconic artists. “Make It Big” celebrates the legendary music of George Michael with an authentic and captivating live performance that fans will not want to miss.

Milton Farmer’s Market
Every Saturday morning throughout July, head downtown for the Milton Farmer’s Market, running from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Main Street between James Street and Martin Street. With over 80 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handmade goods, and local finds, it is a wonderful way to start your weekend while supporting the community.

Halton Pride Parade & Pride in the Park
On Saturday, July 19th, celebrate love, diversity, and inclusion right here in Milton at the Halton Pride Parade, starting off at 2:00 pm along Main Street.
Following the parade, Pride in the Park moves the celebration to the Milton Fairgrounds, featuring live entertainment, local vendors, food, performances, and family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon.

Milton Rib and Beer Fest
One of the most anticipated events of the summer returns to Community Sports Park from July 24th to 26th. The Milton Rib and Beer Fest brings together Ontario’s best BBQ ribbers for a weekend of slow-smoked ribs, cold drinks, live music, and a lively festival atmosphere the whole family can enjoy. Pets are welcome on a leash!
Hours are Friday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Saturday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Admission is $3 per person, with kids under 5 free.

Live Band Music in Victoria Park
Every Thursday in July, grab your lawn chair or blanket and head to Victoria Park to enjoy some free live band music, presented by the Milton Concert Band and MCB Show Band.
It’s a great opportunity to enjoy live music and those beautiful summer evenings we look forward to all year long!

Milton Outdoor Artisan and Vendor Experience
Running alongside Ribfest weekend, the Milton Outdoor Artisan and Vendor Experience takes place at Country Heritage Park from July 24th to 26th, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.
This free, family-friendly market showcases talented artisans, makers, and small businesses from across Ontario, featuring handmade crafts, jewelry, original artwork, pottery, home décor, and specialty gifts.

Chudleigh’s Summer Music Nights
Just outside of Milton, Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm hosts Summer Music Nights on select evenings throughout July and August, featuring live music, farm-fresh cider, food, and relaxed evening entertainment in a beautiful outdoor setting.
