Now I understand that laminate flooring has function – it’s a little cheaper than hardwood, and in some cases it’s more durable for pets and kids. But hardwood is king, and except for few decades lapse in judgment where people covered hardwood with shag carpets, it’s here to stay.
Here’s your test to get Top Dollar… “Would you expect to see ______ in a model home?” If the answer is no (which it would be with laminate), then that’s a little clue to help with your decision… especially if you’re over the $500k mark.
