When I look at the photos on McNaughton, I can’t help but think that they missed a chance to show their BEST feature, which is the HUGE wedge-shaped property. It’s easily 30-40% larger than most properties in the area… yet no photos at all. I sold the home a few years ago, so I know it pretty well.

Plus, there’s an interesting senior living accommodation in the Marian Courtyard called a “life lease”. It’s a little hard to explain this kind of ownership, but it’s quite possibly the closest thing to owning a place without actually owning it. More in the video…

Finally, our new listing on Ferguson gives us a chance to highlight the awesome floor plan of the Melville model, and to show you the difference between good photos and great photos. Hepburn also has a great front shot that’s now the second photo, and they RAISED their price by $40,000 after not receiving anything they liked on offer night. I’ve seen properties be successful doing it, but more often than not, it’s the equivalent to a “Kiss of Death”.

Thanks for tuning in, and we’ll see you again on Monday. Not sure if we’ll keep up with this iPad thing, or go back to desktop… but Annette our editor is away on holidays, so it was a good excuse to try something new.
