Pretty close to finding a unicorn or bigfoot is trying to locate a house backing onto a forest. People buy them and hold onto them. There’s a home today with a forest PLUS a wider, pie-shaped yard on a quiet street… it’s very rare. They’re in a tricky price range, and technically it’s only a 3-bedroom (although you could convert back to four)… so let’s see what happens. But it caught my attention for sure. Remember, there are things you can change (like the 4th bedroom or upgrades) but you can’t move the house, and it’s a terrific location.
Plus, I’ll share an easy way to know if a home has been a Princess Margaret Lottery prize (no it’s not Googling the address), and one of the easiest, low-cost, biggest impact things to spruce up the outside of your house.
