There’s a home in today’s list that’s nearly $5 million bucks.  Wow.  But really… does anybody NEED 14,000 square feet?  Anyway, that’s a whole other topic.  The interesting thing that happens in that range is that a $2 million dollar home is probably 4-5 times as awesome as a $1 million dollar home… so you see this geometric compounding of awesomeness.  But at the same time, it’s almost inversely proportional to the buyers you lose.  90% of the buyers are lost by the time you get from $1 million to $2 million.  Back to the rest of the list… you’re getting a huge lot and a 4-bedroom semi-detached on Gazley for $435k, which I think is a fantastic deal.  There are two homes with basement “apartments”, including one with more than 3000 square feet for just over $600k, which seems like outstanding value.  And one of my favourite homes with a custom kitchen and a pie-shaped lot for just over $800k.  Oh, and here’s the article I mentioned when shopping for a home from the builder.
