Wow! Two days in a row! It’s been a while since we did that. Nice to be back to a routine.

Our purpose here at MDH is to give you the information you won’t get just by looking at a listing. We know floor plans and areas, and things that may not be as noticeable to the average consumer.

By the way, you are definitely NOT average, but you get what I mean. 🙂

Today there are six properties, and we’re going to show you a floor plan for a home without any photos. There’s a lot of detective work we can do on a property BEFORE seeing it, including looking up an old listing, and in most cases, pulling off the floor plan just from knowing the models so well.

I’ve been in the Banks townhouses a few times, and I’ll explain some thoughts about the layout. Yes, the finishes are good, and the ceilings are nice and high. But how do you lay out your furniture?

Most people won’t be able to see the challenge with the floor plan unless they see it in person, or unless they’re very good at interpreting builder floor plans. We happen to be good at both. Which means we can often save our clients valuable time and efforts when they search.

Finally, the house on Leiterman has an interesting protruding garage that removes a driveway space. But what do you gain as a result? Watch the video to find out.

Also, what are the pros and cons of buying a home with an “assumed” non-legal basement apartment? It goes back to yesterday’s episode about permits, but the fines are much stronger when a Tenant is involved.
