See that slope in the backyard at 389 Bussel? That’s called a “berm” and it’s used for sound dampening when a train passes by immediately behind the home.
The interesting thing I’ve noticed about train tracks is the difference of opinions from nearby owners. Some have told me that you don’t even notice the train after a few weeks, and others say they have been gritting their teeth every time the train passes since the day they moved in.
I’ve never lived close to train tracks before, but I would certainly encourage you to get lots of opinions before moving in.
Or maybe you could request a sleepover at the house! I bet you didn’t know that was a thing… 🙂
And be sure to check out 1189 Biason. That dining room with cloudy sky ceiling? I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that before. The rest of the home looks pretty neat, but it’s a very difficult one to place a value on, because it’s so customized. Doesn’t fit into the usual “box”. Offers are on Sunday night.
