Sometimes you can just tell when a property is going to be rough inside.  Not having pictures is a clue, and so is the presence of words like “build your dream” or “as is condition” or “handyman special”.  You’ll find one of these on Guelph Line today.

BUT for half an acre, you’re paying less than a townhouse in Milton right now.  That’s pretty scary.  In fact, there are TWO CONDOS in the list both asking more than Guelph Line.

Even if you put $100k into the home and landed at around $500k… it could make a lot of sense to someone who feels trapped on a smaller urban property.

179 Swindale was asking $749k and they weren’t having any luck, so now the price has dropped by $50k.

If it were me, I would have spend a few thousand in paint… those wall colours will absolutely turn some people away.  Found a video that shows some better options.  Imagine Swindale with some of these colours – totally different!

That video is courtesy of a “next generation” agent in California… so if you know anybody moving there, reach out to her and give a shout out from me!

And good luck to Tremaine with a two-bedroom home for over a million bucks.  At least it’s on municipal water with natural gas.
