I’m writing this post one day later because I was having a Super Happy Fun Day ™ with my kids on Thursday. And the video for the day is the theme song for Phinneas & Ferb… “Today is Gonna be a Great Day” in honour of the days when you really want to goof off with people you love.
First, we went to Safari Niagara to look at some animals. Then we ate at the Queen Victoria Restaurant overlooking the Falls. Then up to Niagara-on-the-Lake for some ice cream by the water.
It was VERY hot, so of course we had to end the day with a swim.
As you can guess, our family likes being by water. 🙂
The rules for a Super Happy Fun Day ™ is two meals together, two events, dessert, and then reflection on all the fun you had. It’s a pretty simple formula, and all you need is a full open day with someone you care about.
A lot of times, we try to carve away an hour or two, but the memories that remain for a long time are when you’ve had a fully loaded day of fun. You’ll forget the one-off things, but a whole day is special.
