This is the Pinehurst Model by Mattamy Homes. This model is great for entertaining and has a big open concept kitchen with an island that overlooks the living room and the dining room. The kitchen has extended cabinetry with a desk and a separate pantry. The island is large enough to seat four and there is room for a breakfast table.

Crown mouldings, hardwood and built-in shelving by the fireplace make this main floor stand out. The main floor is completed with a den that has large windows and makes it a perfect home office or kids play space … it’s neatly tucked away at the front of the house.

Stepping out the sliding doors into the backyard you will notice a beautiful two-tiered deck perfect for hosting a BBQ. Take pride in bringing farm-to-table food with a variety of vegetables that have been thoughtfully planted. Here’s a list of what to expect. Two Japanese Willow trees, a mature maple, and a beautiful raised garden bed complete the serenity of this space.

Upstairs you have three good sized bedrooms with a laundry room and even more storage. Each bedroom has double closets and the master bedroom includes a walk-in closet and updated ensuite.

You already have a finished two-piece bathroom in the basement so all that is left is to design it the way you want to .. when you want to.

The owners are going to miss the neighbourhood and the street. It’s child friendly with amazing neighbours that really take care of their homes. Being 10 minutes away from everything the Town of Milton has to offer has been such a convenience for them. Especially being so close to the stunning escarpment trails.

About the Neighbourhood

Harrison

Around 2008, the market changed and the world faced an economic crisis.  While Milton remained better off than many other areas, we still felt the effects. Some owners who purchased from builders in 2007 faced an economy where their homes weren’t worth what they paid.  Luckily, that turned around by mid-2009. There was a noticeable increase in density of housing, with many of the larger lots from Beaty, Dempsey, Clarke and Coates starting to disappear. That being said, there are some very prestigious streets with larger homes and lots, especially on the west side of the neighbourhood.  You can see some of the clearest, best views of the Escarpment from these homes.  Sunsets are a delight.
