Welcome to 1461 Laurier Avenue.

With almost 2200 sq ft of finished living space, this impeccable all-brick home is impressive both inside and out. With a long list of features, we think you’ll find it to be a very attractive option for your next home.

Outside the owners spared no expense with the installation of stunning stone hardscaping in both the front and back. Not only does it look fantastic – it also serves to minimize any outdoor maintenance required.

If you have a lot of cars in your family or have visitors often, you’ll be pleased to know there’s enough parking for six vehicles (four in the driveway, two in the garage).

Inside you’ll find a well-designed open concept floor plan with sought after finishes such as nine-foot ceilings, hardwood flooring on both levels, high-end laminate in the basement (carpet-free, perfect for those who struggle with allergies), California shutters, custom closet organizers in all the bedrooms, as well as the front foyer closet, and gorgeous high-end light fixtures throughout.

The large white eat-in kitchen includes a sizable island, upgraded cabinetry with extended pantry space, granite counters, and a fabulous backsplash. There’s also a pantry closet – providing additional storage space for all your odds and ends. From the kitchen, double french doors lead you out onto the custom-built stone patio in the backyard – it’s a great extension of the living space in warmer months.

Opposite the kitchen is the family room. We’re certain you’ll appreciate the openness between these two rooms where you can easily keep an eye on the kids or the television while preparing meals.

A favourite feature in the family room is the stunning custom-built concrete and limestone wall, encasing the gas fireplace – it makes an impressive statement all on its own.

On this level, there’s also a powder room and direct entrance to the double garage.

Upstairs you’ll find three excellent-sized bedrooms plus a gorgeous laundry room complete with a folding counter, double sink, hanging station and beautiful white cabinets.

The primary retreat has a large walk-in closet with custom-built organizers, a secondary closet, and a five-piece ensuite including double sinks, a huge soaker tub, and a separate glass-enclosed shower.

The professionally finished basement includes an electric fireplace, a pull-down Murphy Bed (perfect for the occasional overnight guest), and a 2-piece washroom. There’s lots of ample storage space on this level too.

This stunning home is centrally located in the Clarke neighbourhood of Milton. You’re within walking distance to both the public and Catholic elementary schools as well as great parks and trails. You also have easy access to everyday amenities such as shopping, restaurants, the library, and the Arts and Milton Leisure Centre. Eastside Milton location means easy and quick access to The Go, 401, and 407 – great for those who commute.

This is one special home, and we don’t say that lightly. Come have a look for yourself. You’ll love living here!

About the Neighbourhood

Clarke

In 1999, Milton got access to a new water supply, which meant the doors were wide open for development. Builder sales centres were in the middle of farm fields, and the Clarke and Dempsey neighbourhoods began to take shape at the turn of the millennium, with original purchase prices in the $140,000 to $230,000 range. The neighbourhood is now firmly established as a friendly place to live, with more mature trees and a closer proximity to Mississauga and Toronto than the brand new west neighbourhoods.
