It’s very rare to find the combination of a central Milton location with the customized features of 1025 McCuaig Drive, all wrapped up together for your enjoyment.

You really can’t beat this location, for a few reasons. It’s one of the closest locations in Milton to the Go Train station, and you can walk there in about 15 minutes. Also within walking distance is the Main Library branch, the Centre for the Arts, the Leisure & Fitness Centre, and a plaza with many food options and the Superstore. There’s easy 401 access, and the public school (Bruce Trail) has a built-in daycare centre. The parks and trails in the Clarke neighbourhood are some of the best in Milton, and there are multiple bus routes just steps away.

Now let’s talk about the house… you won’t find a single home like this one in the neighbourhood.

The owners have completely renovated and replaced the original kitchen, adding extended uppers to showcase the high nine-foot ceilings. There’s a massive wrap-around two-level granite breakfast bar, which is AMAZING for entertaining guests. In fact, the entire main level is open concept, with lots of natural light.

All of the drawers in the kitchen are soft-close, with custom-built pull-outs and craftsman details like dovetail corners. The appliances are all top-quality, with an oven that converts to a large single oven, or a double oven with two temperature settings.

Upstairs, the owners have also replaced the ensuite washroom, and have added a frameless glass shower and a tall vanity. There’s a lovely walk-out balcony from the front bedroom, and every closet has custom-designed organizers. The plush, thick carpet is a real treat for your feet after a long day at work.

The basement has a built-in entertainment centre with a stone accent wall that includes bookshelves, hidden wiring, a fireplace, and a TV mounting bracket. The built-in desk makes for a great home office, with accent lighting. The rec room can remain open, or can easily be converted to two separate rooms.

The basement has plenty of storage space, with four different storage areas. The laundry room is fully finished, and includes a steam washer and dryer, on stands, with space-saving hinged doors designed to save space and allow the laundry room to be a fully opened workspace.

Even though it’s not the prime weather to showcase this year, you’ll absolutely love the patio, the pergola with bamboo blinds for privacy in the hot tub, the shed, and the care that went into making the yard an additional living and entertaining space in the warmer months.

Windows were replaced in 2015, so you don’t have to worry about drafty builder windows, and the roof was replaced in 2018.

As you can see, this home has so many delightful features, and the combination of location and superior finishes makes it a home you will enjoy for many years to come.

About the Neighbourhood

Clarke

In 1999, Milton got access to a new water supply, which meant the doors were wide open for development. Builder sales centres were in the middle of farm fields, and the Clarke and Dempsey neighbourhoods began to take shape at the turn of the millennium, with original purchase prices in the $140,000 to $230,000 range. The neighbourhood is now firmly established as a friendly place to live, with more mature trees and a closer proximity to Mississauga and Toronto than the brand new west neighbourhoods.
