Anyone who has watched Daily Homes for long enough knows I have a strange “thing” about bidets. I have never used one, and I don’t intend to… maybe it’s just my 10-year old humour coming out in slightly odd ways. Watch this if you’re curious about the experience.
There are two great rural listings in the OMDREB list, one of which has the infamous “bottom washer” (say that with a Harry Potter-ish British accent for extra fun!). Oh, and I’ve got a home coming out on Bell School Line across from Springridge Farm for $888,000 with some of the best views you’ll ever see. Maybe not as upgraded as these, but it’s absolutely charming.
Besides that, we’ll look at a few homes that could have made very profitable investments in their homes, and we’ll also talk about the psychology when buyers see something “lacking” in a house. Sometimes an improvement is not always possible because of time or money reasons, like a job transfer… but one thing that always pays off is good photography and de-cluttering, as we learn from one of today’s properties.
Another lesson from this list: if you have a finished basement, show at least one photo of it.
And if the model names Montgomery, Westmoreland and Tothburg mean anything to you, then you know you’re looking at Mattamy homes in the Beaty neighbourhood on 56-foot wide lots that are becoming sought-after commodities as builders continue to shrink the width of their new releases.
