Welcome to the holiday season here at Milton Daily Homes! Not much has been going on… 1 or 2 listings a day.
So we’ll play catch-up a bit, and this may be the last episode for a few more days, or maybe even the year. Depends on the market. 🙂
It seems like the homes in today’s list are priced a little on the high side, but here’s the thing: People think that we here at Milton Daily Homes have some kind of magic influence over the market. But the truth is that the market is remarkably efficient at discovering under-priced or over-priced homes.
Just a few days ago, Beaver Court sold with five offers. Is it a bad time to sell? Apparently not.
So does it matter what we say? Kind of. I think we get more right than wrong… and we certainly attempt to give as much context as we can. But a home will sell for what it’s worth, regardless of what we say around here. Our mission is to educate, but we are no match for an entire market.
And one of today’s homes takes us back to the days of Bob Barker, because it reminds us of an old Price Is Right game. Can you guess which one? As nice as it is, does it have the “juice” to sell for $699k with a single garage? I’m not seeing it, but I’m not the one writing the cheque either.
