Some of the descriptions in today’s list really make me laugh… or cry. Not quite sure. Especially the listing on Hasselfeldt … it sounds like a the verbiage of a used car salesman. This is not the 80’s and there’s no place for that in today’s marketplace. I think the strong push and language like “Won’t last long” actually achieves the opposite effect now. I’ll give you a perfect example of what it sounds like to me.

It really bothers me when I hear the entitlement that some sellers and their agents have in this marketplace. I get it… you have the upper hand in a very strong sellers’ market. But would it hurt to express a little gratitude for the buyer? Especially the ones who lose? There will come a day when those same sellers and agents could be BEGGING for someone to buy their house.

The description on Manley paints a “peaceful” picture, but does it accurately depict the house? Maybe.  I felt calm as I looked at the photos, but maybe it was the 11 hour sleep I had last night (I went to bed before the kids!)

As a change of pace, the description on Bruce Street really IS true … it’s a great alternative to a townhouse … considering you can’t even get a freehold townhouse at this price! I like the future of this location… could definitely see someone assembling the land for a big project.

Speaking of truth, you’ll get it from me with Laurier.

Cabot may not be my favourite layout, but it will definitely appeal to someone, especially with the four bedrooms. And you can’t touch anything in Dorset Park lately for less than $550,000.
