Homes on Maiden Lane don’t come along often, and because the street is so close to downtown, it’s an ideal location with a price point that’s a little lower than the surroundings, thanks to smaller lots and attached housing. Overall, it gets high marks.

But be careful… because you might find yourself swimming in your living room. I’ll explain what I mean in the episode.

The last time Milton flooded was in 1954, thanks to Hurricane Hazel. Nothing since then, but it would take approximately six inches of rain in 24 hours to cause some pretty nasty stuff to happen.

Here’s the link for the zoning page on the Milton website, with links to maps in PDF for online format.  Notice the new logo!

Then we’ll talk about one of my favourite streets, and why installing flooring that LOOKS cheap is generally not a good idea – especially at a higher price point. Gorham Way was built by Milton Valley Homes, and I love the park at the end of the street and the friendly neighbours that hang out together. It has a nice community feeling.
