Welcome home to 892 Edison Court.

Situated in the desirable family-friendly neighbourhood of Dorset Park in Milton. Homes on this street rarely come up for sale.

This meticulously maintained, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, single car garage, detached home is situated on a fully fenced and generously sized pie-shaped/pool-sized lot, with a total distance of 127 feet across the backyard. It’s the perfect setting for a “Staycation” AND it’s all at your doorstep.

There is a fantastic 18ft x 36ft inground pool with a diving board (that’s been professionally opened and closed by Cannonball Pools since 2012) that’s enclosed in a wrought iron fence for added safety PLUS lots of additional yard space to entertain in and watch the kids and/or pets run and play.

If you love to garden, there’s lots of room for that too. You’ll love this delightfully private, fully landscaped, relaxing outdoor extension of the living space.

This home is also notably located on a very low-traffic cul-de-sac, making it a great setting for kids to play street sports or ride their bikes on. At the end-of-the cul-de-sac, there’s a catwalk/path leading to a newly renovated park, complete with a very cool playground for the kiddos.

Inside you’ll find a bright and welcoming main floor layout that’s unlike the same models in this neighbourhood thanks to a wonderful addition at the back of the home. At the heart of this home is the large combined eat-in kitchen and family room. When you see it we think you’ll agree: it’s truly a fantastic space. Having a kitchen that opens up to the home’s busy family room is ideal on many counts. The large eat-in kitchen has been beautifully designed with classic white cabinets, built-in stainless steel appliances, a double under-mount sink and quartz countertops, along with functional pull-out pot/pan drawers. On this level, you’ll also find a combined living/dining room and access to the garage – which is currently being used as a hobby/workshop area.

Upstairs there are three excellent-sized bedrooms and a large 5-pc bathroom, including a second shower. The finished basement offers additional living space, a 2-pc bathroom and lots of storage space on this level too, including a large crawl space under the kitchen.

This is the kind of home you can live in and enjoy for a very long time, with one of the best locations in Milton. Plus, the central-north location in Milton allows for great access to the GO station – it’s about a 17-minute walk according to Google. You can go to the main branch of the Library or the Community Centre and other great everyday amenities, too….and access to the 401 is just a few minutes away.
Don’t miss out!

About the Neighbourhood

Dorset Park

The next area to develop after the downtown/Old Milton core was Dorset Park in the 1970’s. This area is characterized by many small cul-de-sac crescents which are perfect for kids, and the many styles of homes – bungalows, split levels and two-storey homes, all on very respectable 50-foot lots (or so). There are lots of walking trails winding through the area, with a cluster of townhouses and an iconic Mac’s convenience store in the middle near Woodward and Wilson.
