Welcome home to 89 Heslop Road.

If you’ve been looking for a great place to put down roots, this could be the perfect home for you and your family.

Situated on a generous 60 ft x 120 ft pool-sized lot, this well maintained, all brick, raised-bungalow has 3+1 bedrooms, over 1,400 square feet of finished living space, plus lots of additional storage space in both the Cantina and combined laundry/furnace room.

As you drive up to the home you’ll notice the sizable driveway. Between the oversized detached single car garage and driveway, you can easily park a minimum of seven cars…or perhaps that new fun toy you’ve been thinking about buying!

Inside, many of the original elements in the home have been respectfully maintained so you can continue to enjoy it, as it is now, or renovate to suit your tastes – the options are plentiful.

Large windows throughout the home allow in plenty of natural light. Upstairs you’ll find a combined living and dining room. There’s a good-sized eat-in kitchen, equipped with a gas stove, and just off the kitchen is a three season porch that overlooks, and provides direct access to the backyard. The backyard is a wonderfully private space. It gets lovely afternoon and evening sun. At the rear of the yard is a pear and plum tree that bears delicious fruit in the fall. A portion of the fencing from the driveway into the backyard is also removable so if you plan on doing extensive landscaping, you can get larger pieces of equipment in and out with ease.

On the main level there are also three good sized bedrooms, a four piece washroom, and under the carpet, you’ll be delighted to discover hardwood floors.

Downstairs you’ll find a large family room with oversized windows, and a fourth bedroom that can also double as a home office. The sizable Cantina provides the perfect space for additional storage, and the laundry/furnace room is big enough to accommodate a workshop.

The shingles were replaced on the house and detached garage in 2017 and in July of this year, new coils were installed in the central air conditioner so you don’t have to worry about these costly expenses for years to come.

One of our favourite things about this wonderful home is its location. You’re within easy walking distance to great parks and schools. LaRose, a Fine Italian Bakery, known for its delicious selection of specialty foods, is just around the corner. It’s only a 15 minute walk to our vibrant downtown Milton, where you can enjoy fantastic restaurants, great local shopping and Mill Pond. When all the downtown events and festivals come back, you’ll love being so close. Fireworks at the Fairgrounds can even be seen from the yard, where you can welcome your friends and family to VIP parking. If you commute you’ll love that the Milton Go or access to the 401 is just a short 7-minute drive.

With a lovely combination of a well-maintained home and great location, you’ll love living here for many years to come.

About the Neighbourhood

Bronte Meadows

Built mostly towards the mid-to-late 1980’s just north of the hospital, the boundaries of this area are often confused because of the close proximity to Timberlea, both geographically and with the way the houses look. The lots are slightly smaller in this area, with many “detached” homes linked by the foundation, but still generally much larger properties than you’ll find in the new area. This was the last area to be built before a long pause in building in the 1990’s due to lack of extra water supply in Milton.
