It’s not everyday that you’ll find a wonderful combination of features like 571 Strathcona Court. It’s located on a very low-traffic cul-de-sac, so kids can play hockey or ride bikes without worrying about speeding cars. Behind the home, there’s green space and a park, which is currently being upgraded by the Town of Milton.

It’s really the ideal location if you have kids. Plus, the central-north location in Milton allows for great access to the Go station – it’s about a 13-minute walk according to Google. You can go to the main branch of the Library or the Community Centre, too… and access to the 401 is just a few minutes away.

Then you have a raised bungalow with approximately 2,500 square feet of floor space.

The kitchen has been renovated so that the entire main living area is open concept with a large centre island, and there are two full bathrooms on this level, which is rare for a bungalow.

Another rare feature is the walk-in closet in the master bedroom. It’s very hard to find both of these features.

Moving along to the basement, there’s a one-bedroom self-contained in-law suite with a kitchen and a washroom with a shower. It can be used for extended family, or possibly as a short-term AirBnB to earn some extra spending money.

The yard is pie-shaped, with a total distance across the backyard of 112 feet. There’s wonderful privacy with no neighbours behind. The roof and air conditioner have both been replaced in the last six years.

This is the kind of home you can live in for a very long time, with one of the best locations in Milton. Come have a look for yourself!

About the Neighbourhood

Dorset Park

The next area to develop after the downtown/Old Milton core was Dorset Park in the 1970’s. This area is characterized by many small cul-de-sac crescents which are perfect for kids, and the many styles of homes – bungalows, split levels and two-storey homes, all on very respectable 50-foot lots (or so). There are lots of walking trails winding through the area, with a cluster of townhouses and an iconic Mac’s convenience store in the middle near Woodward and Wilson.
