One of Timberlea’s finest streets!

Welcome to one of Milton’s finest streets, where you’ll enjoy friendly neighbours, mature trees and large backyards.

The Timberlea neighbourhood is known for its central location close to the Milton Mall and the Go Station to the north, along with lots of walking trails and welcoming schools.

Just around the corner are two shopping plazas with two grocery stores and lots of food options, and there’s even a toboggan hill for kids to enjoy in the winter.

408 Gowland is a five-level sidesplit with more than 3,000 square feet of space.

The front of the home has been transformed recently, with new windows, new front and garage doors, new siding and paint. There are four driveway parking spaces with no sidewalk, and two more in the garage.

Inside, you have at least six different family/living areas, and if you finish the basement, there can be even more. Plus, there’s a primary bedroom with a renovated ensuite, and smooth ceilings everywhere.

Here are the floor plans:

The kitchen was custom-designed to cook and entertain. The W-shaped countertops and cabinets allow for a larger kitchen table compared to an island, and you have extra storage for spices, cooking sheets, cutting boards, and waste & compost. The countertops are marble, and there’s a 36″ Wolf range with built-in oven to complement the second AEG oven in the corner.

The flooring in the kitchen is reclaimed hemlock wood from a barn in the Niagara region, and adds a rustic flair to the space.

The backyard can be accessed from three different doors and two levels in the home, and it’s large enough for a pool or for kids to run around. The large interlock area can host larger dinners, or even a hot tub. A large maple tree grows in the corner, and there are perennial gardens in the front and back.

People wait for homes on this street to come out because of the convenient location and the low-traffic, well-maintained surroundings. This home has plenty of space to grow, and you’ll enjoy it for many, many years to come!

About the Neighbourhood

Timberlea was built mostly in the 1980’s, and you tend to get more square footage and size than many of the homes in Old Milton and Dorset Park. Double-garage two-storey homes are very popular with growing families, and the area can be a great balance between modern features like larger closets and ensuite washrooms, and having a lot size much larger than many of the newer neighbourhoods.
