33 Whitmer Street, also known as the Greenlife West Side building, is an award-winning energy efficient building in the north end of the Scott neighbourhood in Milton, within walking distance to downtown Milton heading east, and the Sherwood Community Centre to the west.

There are lots of great restaurants, the LCBO, and even Mill Pond nearby… all walkable within 15-20 minutes.

The building has been praised by engineers throughout North America and Europe for its technology. It’s built with insulated concrete forms (ICF), which provide better sound dampening and insulation than traditional building methods. You also have triple pane glass windows, solar panelling, and geothermal heating, which is 4-5 times more efficient than the best gas furnaces on the market.

Even the way the parking garage is built is designed to reduce heat loss and improve efficiency. These add up to savings with lower utility costs and lower condo fees, along with quieter condo units.

Suite #208 is one of only a handful of one-bedroom plus den layouts in the building, and it measures 673 square feet of well-designed space. The balcony is private, and you can even watch fireworks in downtown Milton from the comfort of your home.

There are granite counters, new laminate floors, fresh paint, and a den that’s large enough for a bedroom or a home office, complete with French doors.

The neighbours are friendly and social, and the building is home to many cats and dogs. The common areas are extremely clean and well-kept, with a gym, bike room, and a historic building at the front that serves as a gathering space for parties & events.

The sale includes underground parking space and one locker.

Enjoy the suite, the building, and the wonderful location for many years to come!

About the Neighbourhood

Scott

Built around the same time as Harrison north of Derry Road, this neighbourhood mirrors the trend of starter houses closer to the train tracks, and larger houses further west with great views of the Escarpment. The builders who sold most of this area include Greenpark, Fieldgate, Arista, Mattamy and Heathwood.  Intracorp built some somes in the north that rival some of the larger east lot sizes. This neighbourhood has one of the highest concentrations of homes backing onto green space. Even though the density is still higher than the east neighbourhoods, this area consistently breaks price records and offers some of the most impressive homes in town.
