There are a couple of homes in todays list that I would consider to be quite affordable in todays market. A three-bedroom townhouse for the same price as a one-bedroom condo apartment? To me, the choice is easy! Plus, there’s even a detached home with hardwood flooring and nice upgrades with privacy behind for under $550K!

Easily my favourite of the day is the Mattamy “Powell” model on Watson with greenspace behind. In the video, I thought it looked like the park, but it’s actually the Union Gas trail, which is even better because it’s quieter.

You won’t find a better front/back combo than the home on HInchey, but I’ll tell you the ONE thing that may be an issue for someone.

Finally, we’ll look at “one of the largest lots in Dorset Park” according to the listing, from many different angles using the very handy GIS mapping tool.

Finally, friend of the show Colin Best shared some history about yesterday’s risque street names:

“Racey, Eager and Cummings are named after former councillors and local farming families who built the town. Mrs. Zella Bonin a former Citizen of the Year and who is still alive, ran her father’s store Harris Stationary on Main St. for over 40 years and contributed to the Town in many ways.”

Well… in that case, let’s tip our hat to the wonderful people who helped build this town!  Thanks Colin!
