When you think of 962 McCutcheon Crescent, remember that it’s the little things that matter. First of all, it’s one of the smaller homes on the street, so it’s one of most affordable ways to get into the area, especially with a double garage. But at 1,820 square feet, there’s still lots of living space.

You’ll notice lots of little things going through the house:

… the birch upgrade finish on the inside of the kitchen cupboards

… the inside access directly from the garage

… the window in the walk-in master bedroom closet

… the moveable kitchen island

… the kitchen sink facing a large window

… a split staircase that’s much safer for kids in case they fall

… there’s no sidewalk outside, so you’re able to park four cars in the driveway

The tree out front was watered and given a healthy dose of Miracle Gro by the current (original) owners, and it remains one of the tallest and lushest trees on the street.

The furnace, air conditioner and roof have been replaced in the last two years, and the home has been freshly painted, with cleaned carpets… so it’s ready for you to move right in.

The street is quiet, with very little traffic. You get morning sun on the front porch, and afternoon sun in the yard. There’s a good mix of ages of kids on the street, and the Beaty Library is just around the corner. You can grab two buses nearby, and you can also walk less than one kilometre to Craig Kielburger high school to the south, and Hawthorne Village to the west, which was ranked in the Top 25 schools in Canada by Today’s Parent magazine.

There are three parks within a short walk, and there’s a neighbourhood trail behind the library that’s very popular for evening strolls.

You’ll enjoy the little things about this home, including the great location and delightful layout, for many years to come.

About the Neighbourhood

Beaty

After Clarke and Dempsey finished, most of the building took place here in Beaty back in the early 2000’s. There was a strong demand for detached houses and larger double-garage homes for the move-up buyers who were growing their families in the neighbourhoods built a few years before. This area has some of the widest and deepest lots available in the new areas, including the no-longer-available 56-foot Wide Lots. This area is known for plenty of parks, and some of the best public and Catholic schools in Milton.
