The best properties combine the right area and the right house, just like you’ll find with 856 McKay Crescent. The home is located on a quiet and low-traffic street, established with friendly neighbours, in an east Milton location that saves time commuting to Toronto and Mississauga. You can get to the Go station or the 401 in less than ten minutes, and there are multiple parks and the public and Catholic elementary schools within one kilometre of the home.

Inside, there are durable wood floors on the open concept main level, plus an updated kitchen with quartz counters and top quality stainless steel appliances. There are three bedrooms upstairs, including the master suite with a walk-in closet complete with its own window.

In the basement, there’s a full washroom to complement the full washroom upstairs, and a finished rec room with built-in speakers that will remain in the house for the next owner. Storage is always ideal, and there are two large areas in the basement for the things you don’t need everyday. The furnace and air conditioner have both been replaced within the last three years.

The REAL highlight of this home is the backyard, facing protected greenspace. There are perennial gardens that are easy to maintain, professionally installed landscape lighting on timers, magnolia, pear & weeping cypress trees, and a drip system for hanging baskets. You can spend hours outside when the weather warms up, entertaining friends or enjoying some quiet reflection time to yourself.

The front of the home also has landscape lighting with variable colours. Watching the Leafs game? Change the lights to blue. Want a bright white, or a soft white colour? You can do that, too. Holiday season might be red or green. It’s your choice, and you can control everything from an app on your phone. The driveway can also fit two cars, plus one more in the garage if you need three spaces.

All of the lights have been changed to LED in the house, and many of the drains have been extended underground to keep water away from the foundation. The little details have all been taken care of, so you can just move in and enjoy this lovely home, in an ideal Milton location, for years to come.

About the Neighbourhood

After Clarke and Dempsey finished, most of the building took place here in Beaty back in the early 2000’s. There was a strong demand for detached houses and larger double-garage homes for the move-up buyers who were growing their families in the neighbourhoods built a few years before. This area has some of the widest and deepest lots available in the new areas, including the no-longer-available 56-foot Wide Lots. This area is known for plenty of parks, and some of the best public and Catholic schools in Milton.
