Situated on a low traffic and very family friendly street, 839 McKay Crescent is a well-kept Mattamy Amesbury townhome with over 1,300 square feet of living space.

Freshly painted in warm neutral tones, this home is bright and welcoming. There are dark cabinets in the kitchen equipped with new stainless steel appliances, newer countertops, along with direct access to the garage.

The backyard is private, completely fenced in, and will be sodded with grass for the new owners prior to closing. The main rooms in the home, including bedrooms, have also been wired for Cat 5 Ethernet, allowing you to have a private, high speed network at home for Internet access, online gaming, IP security cameras, or any other use of standard Ethernet type wiring.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a large walk in closet and semi ensuite washroom. There are two other generous sized bedrooms on this level.

The professionally finished basement features a rec room area, plus oversized windows that allow in plenty of natural light, and a three-piece washroom. It’s the perfect space for the occasional overnight guest, a home theatre, or kids play area. There’s also excellent storage space on this level, and the washer and dryer are brand new.

You’ll be delighted to know that the owners also recently took care of replacing the shingles, the air conditioner and the hot water tank, so there’s no need to worry about these costly expenses for another ten to fifteen years.

This home combines a superb layout with tasteful finishes and updates. We’re sure it will stand out for you the same way it did for the current owners. It is centrally located within the desirable Beaty neighbourhood of Milton.

The East-side location saves you time commuting to Toronto and Mississauga. You can get to the Go station or the 401 in less than ten minutes. There are also multiple parks, walking trails and both the public and Catholic elementary schools are within one kilometre of the home.

About the Neighbourhood

After Clarke and Dempsey finished, most of the building took place here in Beaty back in the early 2000’s. There was a strong demand for detached houses and larger double-garage homes for the move-up buyers who were growing their families in the neighbourhoods built a few years before. This area has some of the widest and deepest lots available in the new areas, including the no-longer-available 56-foot Wide Lots. This area is known for plenty of parks, and some of the best public and Catholic schools in Milton.
