I moved to Milton from Oakville when I was 13 years old, back in the days when Timberlea was considered “new Milton.” As a young woman, I worked with Mayors Don Gordon and Gord Krantz to promote Milton’s future growth, and to support the GO Train’s arrival in Milton.
My background is in Urban & Regional Planning and Architecture, but I learned early in my career that I preferred being more hands on. I worked as the Lead Designer with Merchants Worldwide, followed by starting the Interior Design Home Consultation program for Benjamin Moore, working with some of Canada’s top designers, including Jane Lockhart, Brian Gluckstein, and Debbie Travis.
I was eventually convinced by family, friends and colleagues to open Rprojex as my own design company. The work has taken me from Niagara to Sudbury, and all the way from London to Rochester. I help with colour consultation, kitchen designs, interior renovation projects and local and national head office designs. And I’m delighted to be a part of the Charlton Advantage team as their Design Consultant, running the Home Enhancement and Smart Staging programs.
I enjoy being active in the community, helping with Milton Youth Soccer, Girls Incorporated, and Journey for Jacob. I live in Old Milton with my husband Bill, who owns a painting company (Paintech), my son Mac, and daughter Cailey.
